DIY REM POD
Updated: 4 days ago
Hello everyone. A colleague of mine showed me how to make little paranormal DIY REM Pod. These are small and so cheap to make you could have enough to place around a room or down a hallway. It uses a MPF102 transistor, basically it is a very simplified theremin (Which is what a REM Pod is). The theremin was invented by a Russian scientist, Lev Sergeevich Termen in the 1920s as a musical instrument that was played by hand gestures around the antenna. You know what a REM Pod sounds like so you can understand why it wasn’t a hit. Now, please note this version is silent, there is no speaker. I prefer it silent for my paranormal investigations. So let’s get to it.
9v battery case with switch https://amzn.to/3bUr8e2
LED Diod, red https://amzn.to/2Pd4JyJ
MFP102 Transistor https://amzn.to/2P9WraS
The how to:
Solder the negative (short) leg of the LED diode to the negative wire of the 9V case. Next solder the middle leg (number 2) of the MPF102 transistor to the positive wire of the 9V case. Now, solder the number 1 leg of the MPF102 transistor to the positive (long) leg of the LED diode. Bend the number 3 leg of the MPF102 transistor upward. This is the antenna. There you have it you have made a DIY REM Pod for paranormal investigations.
